Today, we commemorate the murder of journalist Jan Kuciak & his fiancée Martina Kušnirova in #Slovakia 6 yrs. ago. This heinous crime continues to be a sad reminder of the dangers that journalists face. I will continue to advocate for full justice & for the #SafetyOfJournalists.
I am deeply worried about numerous death and other serious threats that @rtvs journalist Marta Jančkárová recently received in #Slovakia. I urge the authorities to investigate and bring those responsible to justice. Journalists need to be safe in order to do their work. #JournoSafe
