بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِیمِ 
إِنَّا انزَلْنَاهُ فِی لَیْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ (۱) وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا لَیْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ (۲) لَیْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ خَیْرٌ مِنْ أَ لْفِ شَهْرٍ (۳) تَنَزَّلُ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ وَالرُّوحُ فِیهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِم مِن كُلِّ أَمْرٍ (٤) سَلاَمٌ هِیَ حَتَّى مَطْلَعِ الْفَجْرِ (۵) 
به نام خداوند بخشنده مهربان
1. ما آن را (قرآن) در شب قدر نازل كردیم
2. و تو چه می‌دانی شب قدر چیست؟
3. شب قدر بهتر از ماه است
4. فرشتگان و «روح» در آن شب به اذن پروردگارشان برای «تقدیر» هر كاری نازل می‌شوند
5. شبی است سرشار از سلامت «و بركت و رحمت» تا طلوع سپیده دم
