اسماعیل آقاجانی تالش به تازگی از رساله خود در زمینه پژوهش‌های مردم‌شناختی در حوزه تالش از دانشگاه شهید بهشتی تهران با درجه کارشناسی‌ارشد فارغ‌التحصیل شده؛ شایان ذکر است، اسماعیل آقاجانی تالش از اندک
پژوهشگرانی است، که به طور نسبتاً کامل با موقعیت جغرافیایی و تاریخی گیلان آشنایی دارد و همواره یکی از دغه‌ دغه‌های ذهنی و قلبی ایشان میراث ملموس و ناملموس گیلان بوده و هست. از این رو، سحر تاج –پژوهشگر و خبرنگار، از نشریه دیجیتال باستان‌شناسی‌منظر دریایی- به سراغ اسماعیل آقاجانی تالش رفت تا از نظرات و صحبت‌های وی در خصوص ظرفیت‌های مغفول گیلان برای پژوهش‌های فرهنگ دریایی جویا شود. گفتنی است دستاورد این گفتگو به صورت مقالۀ کوتاه خبری بر روی تارنمای نشریه به شکل نوشتاری و فشرده قابل دسترس می‌باشد.
