Last Sunday members of @56ArtilleryCmd and Brig. Gen. Montague, DCG Interoperability @4thInfDiv helped lay #WWII #Soldier 1st Lt. Baskind to rest at @usabmc Normandy American Cemetery, after 80 years of being MIA.

A 🏵️ was placed by his name to indicate he is no longer missing.

WWII 1st Lt. Nathan B. Baskind was finally laid to rest with full military honors at Normandy American Cemetery today, 80 years after his death during the war.

The ceremony was a solemn moment of closure for his family and remembrance for all present.
