STEADFAST DETERRENCE 2024, @NATO’s first major joint exercise for the new Allied Reaction Force (ARF), concluded yesterday. Scheduled by @SHAPE_NATO and directed by the JWC, the exercise brought together more than 900 military & civilian personnel in response to a simulated highly complex crisis in the North & the #Arctic region.

The exercise was designed to train & evaluate @NRDCITA as NATO’s first ARF HQ. Overall, it demonstrated #NATO’s cohesion & dedication to a solid and durable deterrence & defence posture in its 75th anniversary year, as the Alliance prepares for the upcoming Washington Summit in July.
