- SC National Guard#TOG’s Tomb Guards continue to stand watch as Flowers of Remembrance Day commences at @ArlingtonNatl. FoR pays homage to the 1st Decoration Day, now known as Memorial Day, which took place in ANC in 1868 to honor the sacrifices of those who fought and died in the Civil War.
- The Old GuardThe Georgia Guard held its annual Memorial Day observance at the Clay National Guard Memorial Wall. During the event 43 Georgia Guard members, who made the ultimate sacrifice for freedom were honored with words of sentiments, musical selections, and a fly over from the 78th ATC.
- GA National GuardRemembering those who had died took on a special meaning when the 25th Infantry Division was at war. Memorial services for recently fallen soldiers were emotional events as soldiers and leaders mourned the loss of someone they all knew.
- 25th Infantry DivisionWe are deeply saddened by the loss of nine @101stAASLTDIV Soldiers during a training mission in Kentucky last night. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families of these Soldiers, to every Soldier of the 101st Airborne Division and to the @FortCampbell community.
