Irina Pereverzeva, Director of Russian House in Valletta, led an online tour of the “Cats and Angels” exhibition for students from Moscow's “World of Knowledge” school. She shared the stories behind each painting by Russian-Maltese artist Yulia Moskyna, with each artwork inspired by a real animal rescue. Along with introducing the students to the exhibition, Irina Pereverzeva also spoke about Malta’s animal protection laws. The students asked many questions about volunteer work, the creation of animal shelters, and programs for socializing and rehoming stray animals. As “World of Knowledge” is a school with a focus on foreign languages, the tour was conducted in English.
