First love: This love happens at a young age. you eventually grow apart and call it quits over silly things. you may get older and look back and think it wasn't love, but it was.

Second love: The hard one. you get by hurt in this one. this love teaches us a lesson and makes us stronger. this love includes great pain, lies, betrayal, abuse, drama and damage. this love makes us realise a lot of things and makes us grow.

Third love: This love comes blindly. no warning, creeps on you silently. you don't go looking for this love, it comes to you. you can put up any wall and it will be broke down. you'll find yourself caring about this person without trying. they look nothing like your usual crush types, but you’ll get lost in their eyes. you want marriage and family with them. you thank the universe for them. you truly love them.

One of the most impactful things we can do to move forward is to accept who people are and stop rewriting their personalities. Stop rewriting their intentions. Stop rewriting their hearts. We tend to have such difficulty accepting that someone doesn't belong in our life and that they may be the cause of our pain because we lie to ourselves about the effect they have on us. Our optimism pushes us to believe the best in them at the expense of our own wellbeing. We know that acknowledging who they are will be the first step in letting them go and that is scary. So we hang on. To who we wish they were, to how we wish they made us feel, and to what we thought they were before we knew them better. We delay the pain of the goodbye. And when we delay it, we compound it. It's time to stop rewriting people and simply read them as they are.
