The Dark Tetrad is machiavellianism, psychopathy, narcissism, and sadism. People with these personal traits tend to manipulate, deceive, harm others, be emotionally distant, or have an inflated sense of self-importance.
Sample: 471 inmates in Serbian prisons, mostly men with no more than a high school education.
Participants were assessed for the Dark Tetrad traits.
Results: machiavellianism is the most significant predictor among the dark traits of criminal behavior, including repeat and early crime, especially in men. Psychopathy, sadism, and narcissism are also associated with criminal behavior, but to a lesser extent. Sadism is associated with early criminal behavior, but only in women. Narcissism is inversely associated with substance use and repeat crime.
Like if you are glad that positive aspects of narcissism were found.
P.S. By the way, we already had a post about another study by the same authors.Link to an article.@liminach #разное
