Internationalist Leftists, especially of the Shinner mould, sometimes loftily proclaim that anyone who is not fluent in the Irish language cannot be a true Irish Nationalist, even as they betray the core of the Nation “as Gaeilge”, or praise some here yesterday foreigner on the basis of their having learned to splutter a few words, or performed a mimicry of Irish culture in music, dancing, sport or otherwise. Again they show only their ignorance and stupidity.
