A little bit about my travel to Pyrénées. (I mentioned it there) In the middle of the semester, I spontaneously ran away to the Pyrénées mountains, to the Bagnères-de-Luchon, small town somewhere on the border with Spain. I visited a couple side-station station cities, like Pau, booking hotels already on the way there. My main meal was a baguette with cheese and coffee, but I was really happy to feel freedom. In Bagnères-de-Luchon, I did two mountain trails, each taking about 4-5 hours. I had the trails to myself - or at least it felt that way, since I didn’t see a human's soul (who knows ahah), only roe deer's ones (I was so scared, u can literally hear it on video omg). At one trail I climbed through the rain, scrambling almost sheer cliffs (yes I took a couple of wrong turns lol). But the view up there worth it. It was indescribably calm. The mountains kept a great silence, guarding the time, and towered protectively over the small town down in the valley. *** I liked that rhythm of life: finishing a report for one of the univ courses, sitting on a mountain and admiring the city in the valley from a height of 2-3 kilometers. adore. just adore. that is really my rhythm of life. #Pyrenees #France #Travelling #beautiful_pictures
