#could_do and #could_have (done)

✴️تستخدم could وليس ( ❌can) لاحداث ليست واقعية بمعنى a not realistic لان can تستخدم للاحداث الواقعية :
🔅I’m so tired, I could sleep for a week.
(❌not I can sleep for a week)

🔰 #مقارنة بين can & could:
🔰🔆I can stay with Sarah when I go to Paris. (واقعي)

🔅🔰This is a wonderful place. I could stay here for ever. ( غير واقعية )

🔰🔆Maybe I could stay with Sarah when I go to Paris. (ممكن بس اقل تاكد)

💠نستخدم could وليس(❌ can) لقول ان شي ممكن الان او بالمستقبل :

🔅The story could be true, but I don’t think it is. (not can be true)

🔰#مقارنة can and could :
🔰1⃣The weather can change very quickly in the mountains. (بشكل عام )

🔰2⃣The weather is nice now, but it could change later. (الجو الان مش بشكل عام )

💠تستخدم could have (done) للتحدث عن الماضي 👈تعني انه كان ممكنا لكن لم يحدث
🔅Why did you stay at a hotel? You could have stayed with me.
🔰#مقارنة :
1⃣🔰I’m so tired, I could sleep for a week. (الان)
1⃣🔰I was so tired, I could have slept for a week. (الماضي)
2⃣🔰The situation is bad, but it could be worse. (الان)
2⃣🔰The situation was bad, but it could have been worse. (الماضي)

#في_حالة_النفي could بالمعنى المضارع

💠I couldn’t (لم يكن ممكنا): (المضارع)
🔅I couldn’t live in a big city. I’d hate it.

💠#النفي_للماضي نستخدم couldn’t have :
👈لم يكن ممكنا
🔅We had a really good holiday. It couldn’t have been better.
❇️لاحظ couldn’t لها معنين :
❶I couldn’t
👈لن يكون ذلك ممكنًا الآن لن أكون قادرًا على(مضارع)
🔅I couldn’t run ten kilometres now. I’m not fit enough. (= غير ممكن مني)

❷I couldn’t (لم اكن قادرا) (الماضي)
🔅I couldn’t run yesterday because I’d hurt my leg.
