#could_do and #could_have (done)

✴️تستخدم could وليس ( ❌can) لاحداث ليست واقعية بمعنى a not realistic لان can تستخدم للاحداث الواقعية :
🔅I’m so tired, I could sleep for a week.
(❌not I can sleep for a week)

🔰 #مقارنة بين can & could:
🔰🔆I can stay with Sarah when I go to Paris. (واقعي)

🔅🔰This is a wonderful place. I could stay here for ever. ( غير واقعية )

🔰🔆Maybe I could stay with Sarah when I go to Paris. (ممكن بس اقل تاكد)

💠نستخدم could وليس(❌ can) لقول ان شي ممكن الان او بالمستقبل :

🔅The story could be true, but I don’t think it is. (not can be true)

🔰#مقارنة can and could :
🔰1⃣The weather can change very quickly in the mountains. (بشكل عام )

🔰2⃣The weather is nice now, but it could change later. (الجو الان مش بشكل عام )

💠تستخدم could have (done) للتحدث عن الماضي 👈تعني انه كان ممكنا لكن لم يحدث
🔅Why did you stay at a hotel? You could have stayed with me.
🔰#مقارنة :
1⃣🔰I’m so tired, I could sleep for a week. (الان)
1⃣🔰I was so tired, I could have slept for a week. (الماضي)
2⃣🔰The situation is bad, but it could be worse. (الان)
2⃣🔰The situation was bad, but it could have been worse. (الماضي)

#في_حالة_النفي could بالمعنى المضارع

💠I couldn’t (لم يكن ممكنا): (المضارع)
🔅I couldn’t live in a big city. I’d hate it.

💠#النفي_للماضي نستخدم couldn’t have :
👈لم يكن ممكنا
🔅We had a really good holiday. It couldn’t have been better.
❇️لاحظ couldn’t لها معنين :
❶I couldn’t
👈لن يكون ذلك ممكنًا الآن لن أكون قادرًا على(مضارع)
🔅I couldn’t run ten kilometres now. I’m not fit enough. (= غير ممكن مني)

❷I couldn’t (لم اكن قادرا) (الماضي)
🔅I couldn’t run yesterday because I’d hurt my leg.

🔅I don’t have a pen.’ ‘You can use mine.’(allowed)
🔅The word ‘dream’ can be a noun or a verb.( possible)

👉Can/could + subject(الفاعل) + verb(الفعل) + Object(المفعول به)

🔅Can you speak any foreign languages?
🔅Could you give me a caffee?

Couldnot(Couldn't) & Cannot (= cann't)
🔅I can’t come to the party on Friday.

🔰✅ #الاستخدام Can / Could ↜ مضارع

1⃣✴️ اقتراحات Suggestion

🔅You could have a coffee instead or chewing Qat. (Suggestion)
👈هل يمكن أن يكون القهوة بدلا من ذلك أو مضغ القات. (اقتراح)

✴️2⃣تستخدم لطرح فكرة Idea:
🔆We can eat in a restaurant or home. which one do you like? (an idea)
👈يمكننا تناول الطعام في مطعم أو منزل. أي واحد تحب? (فكرة)

✴️3⃣المقدرة (Ability) : تستخدم can للمضارع وتستخدم Could للماضي

🔆I could read and write when I was 5 years old. “بالماضي”
🔆I can drive a car. “الان”

✴️4⃣ ترخيص او اخذ الاذن او للسوال "Permission"
🔅Can I go home?
🔅Could you let me enter the class?
🔆Can I use your phone?

4⃣ للطلب (request) لفعل شي : Can / Could

🔅Could you open the window please?
👈هل يمكنك فتح النافذة من فضلك?
🔆Can you lend me money?

💠تستطيع استخدام "able to" لكن can شائعة:
🔅We are able to see the lake from our hotel.

🌀لكن can لها فقط شكلين :
👉can (مضارع) and could (ماضي).
لذلك بعض احيان لازم نستخدم (be) able to.

🔰Tom can come tomorrow.
🔰Maria can speak French, Spanish and

🔰Tom might be able to come tomorrow.
🔰Applicants for the job must be able to
speak two foreign languages.

✴️بعض احيان could الماضي لـ can نستخدمها خصيصا مع افعال الحواس :

🔅see 🔅hear 🔅smell 🔅taste 🔅feel 🔅remember 🔅understand

1⃣We had a lovely room in the hotel. We could see the lake.
2⃣As soon as I walked into the room, I could smell gas.
3⃣I was sitting at the back of the theatre and couldn’t hear very well.

✴️ نستخدم could لقول ان شخص كان قادر لعمل شي او كان مسموحا له لعمل شي :

1⃣My grandfather could speak five languages.(≈abillity)
2⃣We were totally free. We could do what we wanted. (= we were allowed to do)

💠could and was able to
👈نستخدم could لقدرة بشكل عام مع see, hear etc. :
1⃣My grandfather could speak five languages.
1⃣I could see them, but not very clearly.
لقول ان شخص نجح في عمل شي في حاله مخصصة نحن نستخدم
was/were able to or managed to (not could):
1⃣The fire spread quickly, but everybody was able to escape. (not could escape)
2⃣I didn’t know where Max was, but I managed to find him in the end. (not could find)
🔰#مقارنة :
🔰Jack was an excellent tennis player when he was younger. He could beat anybody.
(= he was good enough to beat anybody, he had the ability)

🔰#but
🔰Jack and Andy played a match yesterday. Andy played well, but Jack managed to beat him.
(= نجح في الملاكمة في هذة الوضع او الحاله مخصصة )

💠النفي couldn’t (could not) محتملة بكل الحالات:
1⃣My grandfather couldn’t swim.
2⃣I looked for Max everywhere, but I couldn’t find him.
