God has orchestrated roles for husbands and wives that reflect His divine order.
Husbands are entrusted with the great responsibility of being leaders, protectors, and providers, shepherding their family with wisdom and strength. This leadership is a balance of dominance and love which mirrors Christβs love for the Church as well as his rebuke.
Wives, on the other hand, are created not as subordinates but as vital helpmates to their husbands. By Godβs perfect design, they hold the unique position to either lighten or add to their husband's burdens through their actions and attitudes. A wife enhances her husband's leadership by expressing loyalty, joyfully submitting to his guidance, and sincerely admiring his role as ordained by God.
Together, husbands and wives navigate the challenges of life, with husbands providing spiritual and practical leadership and wives supporting this leadership through respect and submission. This dynamic is not about asserting authority but about fostering a relationship that glorifies God and exemplifies His plan for marital unity.
Through understanding and embracing these divinely appointed roles, Christian marriages can thrive, reflecting the harmony and love that God intends for His children.
I urge both husbands and wives to commit to their roles wholeheartedly, ensuring that their marriage not only prospers but also serves as a testament to the transformative power of God.
βAbraham lived 175 years; just one hundred years after he came to Canaan; so long he was a sojourner in a strange country. Whether our stay in this life be long or short, it matters but little, provided we leave behind us a testimony to the faithfulness and goodness of the Lord, and a good example to our families.β
I plan on watching this. Reading all the "Christians" offended that they would make this video is astounding to me. It's disgusting that "Christians" think smoking marijuana is not evil. It's WICKEDNESS.
J.D. Unwin and Why Sexual Morality May be Far More Important than You Ever Thought
J.D. Unwinβs book, Sex & Culture, was published in 1936. In that book, the author reviewed the connection between the moral and social standards of different civilizations and their longevity. What he found was that in every single case of a civilization abandoning long-standing moral standards for a more permissive culture, that civilization spiraled into collapse within three generations.
Here are a few of his most significant findings:
Effect of sexual constraints: Increased sexual constraints, either pre or post-nuptial, always led to increased flourishing of a culture. Conversely, increased sexual freedom always led to the collapse of a culture three generations later.
Single most influential factor: Surprisingly, the data revealed that the single most important correlation with the flourishing of a culture was whether pre-nuptial chastity was required or not. It had a very significant effect either way.
Jesus warned those that followed Him to beware of the leaven of Pharisees (Mathew 16:6), at first His disciples thought that Jesus was telling them to beware of the bread that the Pharisees carried, but Jesus told them that He spake not of their bread, but rather of their doctrine.
This warning is as important today as it was in the days of Christ, and all Christians must beware of the doctrine of the Jews. While most people, including some Christians, believe the Jews of today are the descendants of Abraham, the Bible teaches otherwise, Jesus warned His people of these imposters, whom He called, the Synagogue of Satan.
(Revelation 2:9) β¦I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
