*قابل توجه سخنرانان و علاقمندان شرکت در هجدهمین کنفرانس بین المللی تلسی*
۱.‌ کلیه افرادی که چکیده آنها برای ارائه پذیرفته شده و حضور خود را از طریق ارسال ایمیل به دبیرخانه کنفرانس اعلام کرده اند لازم است حتما عضو رسمی انجمن تلسی باشند و حق عضویت خود را پرداخت کنند. این دسته از افراد لازم است حق عضویت یکساله انجمن تلسی را تا تاریخ سه شنبه ۱۰ آذر ماه پرداخت کنند و فیش واریزی را به ایمیل دبیرخانه کنفرانس به آدرس [email protected] ارسال کنند تا نسبت به صدور نام کاربری و رمز عبور برای ایشان اقدام شود.
۲. کلیه افرادی که تمایل به حضور و استفاده از سخنرانی های کنفرانس را دارند لازم است حتما نسبت به عضویت/تمدید عضویت خود تا تاریخ سه شنبه ۱۰ آذر ماه و ارسال فیش واریزی به ایمیل دبیرخانه اقدام فرمایند تا نسبت به صدور نام کاربری و رمز عبور برای ایشان اقدام شود.

18th International TELLSI Conference

Conference Chairs’ Message

Dear TELLSI
Members

We are delighted to announce that TELLSI plans to hold its 18th international conference on December 7-9, 2021 (Azar 16-18, 1400). The last TELLSI conference was held two years ago, in 2019. The COVID-19 pandemic, afflicting applied linguistics conferences internationally, affected the TELLSI annual conference and hence TELLSI SIGs held webinars in place of an all-inclusive international conference in 2020. In light of the positive feedback we received from the SIG webinars, TELLSI Board of Directors has decided to hold 18th International TELLSI Conference online, hosted jointly by Tarbiat Modares University and Islamic Azad University, West Tehran Branch.

Aligned with recent developments in applied linguistics and the global demand for EIL-informed teacher education and language pedagogy, the theme of this year’s TELLSI conference is:

Enacting English as an International Language (EIL)
in Teacher Education and Language Instruction

There are many innovations in the 2021 TELLSI conference as keynote speeches, the main discussion panel, workshops, and the selection of exemplary researchers are all aligned with the theme of the conference. These keynote speeches, workshops, and panels could create spaces for researchers to heighten their interest in EIL-based research on teacher education and language instruction and for language instructors to bridge the gap between EIL pedagogical principles and classroom practices. We are confident that speeches by renowned keynote speakers alongside workshops, panels, and parallel session presentations will make this conference a memorable event for all attendees.

More details about abstract submission, scientific committee members selected both internationally and on a nationwide basis, and the wide range of conference topics will be announced shortly. Make sure to plan for a three-day attendance at the conference.
