“I didn’t expect that there would be such big age difference between Taehyung and me, and that we would become close enough to talk a lot about music. However, Taehyung had more musical empathy than I thought. Whether we were having a drink or casually meeting somewhere, we naturally ended up talking about music, and as a result, discussions about our work became more natural as well. At first, it wasn’t about singing ‘Winter Ahead’ together. it started with me helping and giving advice when Taehyung was preparing for his solo album, and then we ended up singing together. Before I got close to Taehyung, I never thought about collaborations, but once we became friends, I started to think, “Why not?” and it became easier to proceed.
