"The armed attack on the Azerbaijani Embassy in Iran [in 2023] was an organized terrorist attack. After the attack, not a single police officer approached the scene for approximately 40 minutes, even though it was in the center of the capital.
Following the attack, we evacuated our embassy in Tehran. The late Iranian Foreign Minister, Abdullahian, promised us that the perpetrator would be executed, so we reopened the embassy. However, Iran deceived us and failed to carry out the execution".
