Spanish police arrest 14 men with suspected ties to the Mexican Sinaloa cartel in connection to a kidnapping and murder case in Catalonia.
The suspects, mostly Mexican nationals, are accused of drug trafficking, money laundering and the murder of a man whose body was found in a wooded area in August.
The victim was abducted after traveling from Italy with his family in Kosovo paying part of a €240,000 ransom demand in cryptocurrency.
The group allegedly smuggled methamphetamine into Spain by soaking it into clothing and extracting it in local labs.
