๐ฟ #STONchronicles: 1inch and STON.fi InvestorsStonfiers! As we've mentioned,
STON.fi closed an investment round, securing funding from major funds and prominent figures in the crypto industry. In our
#STONchronicles series, we briefly introduce our investors โ the companies and individuals making the most incredible DeFi ideas come to life. This post is about 1inch, whose co-founders, Sergej Kunz and Anton Bukov, joined
STON.fi's
investment round.
1inch was conceived as a decentralized exchange aggregator on the Ethereum network, collecting rates from different DeFi platforms to help find the best trading opportunities. Over time, the project began to support other blockchains, including popular ones like Polygon and BNB Chain. The platform expanded its range of products and services, creating an entire ecosystem. 1inchโs key products are:
๐ 1inch Wallet, a swap functionality with access to liquidity across the crypto space;
๐ 1inch Developer Portal, which offers advanced tools for Web3 developers;
๐ 1inch Card (powered by Crypto Life), a physical card for crypto with all the benefits of a debit card.
1inch processes hundreds of thousands of transactions daily, totaling over $600,000,000, making this DEX aggregator one of the flagship projects for many blockchain users. Over its existence, 1inch has been used by more than 16 million unique wallets โ a sign of a highly demanded service that has operated reliably for many years.
The OMNISTON protocol is
STON.fi's step towards realizing full cross-chain exchanges without intermediaries like bridges and without the need of wrapped liquidity. Asset exchanges between networks will significantly simplify crypto operations and open countless new trading opportunities. OMNISTON, like all other
STON.fi functions, can be integrated into any other project โ meaning we will make this step into the future together.
We thank our investors for their support. Let's create together!
