The six young individuals, identified as Milad Armoon, Alireza Barmarzponak, Hossein Nemati, Navid Najaran, Alireza Kafaei, and Amir Mohammad Khosh-Eghbal, have been sentenced to death on fabricated charges of murder, following their participation in street protests in solidarity with the Iranian people. Their confessions were extracted under psychological and physical torture. In addition, the regime’s agents threatened the families of these young people to coerce these confessions. The actions of the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran lack transparency, fairness, and adherence to due legal process. These practices violate international human rights standards, including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, to which Iran is a signatory. The systematic use of the death penalty to silence dissent is a grave affront to human dignity and justice. The execution of these individuals would not only devastate their families and Iranian society but also mark a profound stain on the conscience of humanity. The international community must act immediately to: 1. Condemn the Islamic Republic of Iran’s use of the death penalty as a political tool for repression. 2.
