Mad Tea Party #20 |
Killing time with the dead: a heavy metal tea partyBerlin, September 29, 16:00
We invite you to the opening of the season at
Chto Delat Emergency Project Room with a new mad tea party Master of Ceremony Max Evstropov
The state of emergency is definitely a hard time, but one may also say “heavy”. What does it mean when the time is “heavy”? Does it go “heavily” – or does it go at all? Should we oppose our real hard and heavy times to those hard and heavy times that became a rule?
Alice says she “beats time” when learning music. What about music on the emergency tea party when the time has stopped? Should that music be also “heavy”? What means “heavy” in heavy metal? During the event we’ll try to merge into heavy metal theory (and practice), as well as in other theories of heaviness.
What is to be done, when you are doomed? What time is it, when you are not? Do they drink tea after death? Is it still heavy in heaven? Could time be killed at all?
“Nevermore”, quoth the raven who is like a writing desk, but it goes on nevertheless.
