Deputy Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation Colonel General Aleksandr Fomin held a working meeting with Defence Minister of the Republic of the Congo Lieutenant General Charles Monjo in Moscow. The parties exchanged views on topical issues of Russian-Congolese cooperation in the military and military-technical fields, discussed promising projects of cooperation in the defence sphere and outlined ways of their effective implementation as well as agreed to continue close coordination in all areas of bilateral military cooperation. The talks were held in a friendly atmosphere and ended with the signing of an interdepartmental memorandum of understanding and cooperation in the naval field, confirming the mutual willingness of Moscow and Brazzaville to further enhance practical cooperation. 🔹 Russian Defence Ministry
