BEYOND GRATITUDE JOURNALING
In this lesson, I cover:
1. The TWO MOST EFFECTIVE uses of writing in your Journal: 1) to RECORD your history and 2) to CREATE your future).
2. The TWO MAIN BENEFITS of BECOMING A HISTORIAN of your life: 1) improving your memory and 2) realizing how you got where you are).
3. MY CHALLENGE FOR YOU is to begin (or recommit) to recording your own PERSONAL HISTORY. This doesn't need to be stressful or challenging. In fact, it shouldn't take more than a few minutes per week. You want to record key events, insights, experiences, progress, etc.
4. AT THE END OF EACH MONTH, put together between a 1-paragraph and a 1-page document or cover letter, listing the key events of that month.
5. AT THE END OF EACH YEAR, put together a 1-3 page document listing the key events/experiences of that year. This SHOULDN'T be too long. Just an overview (maybe a list of 10-30 things) that happened that year. Then, do this for the rest of your life. Imagine how great it will be to have 10 years of hi
