🇱🇧l🇮🇱 An American point of view on how Israel got the edge on Hezbullah, not today, but because of 20 years of effort
In an article by the FT they talk about Israel’s broadened focus on Hezbullah in the region was accompanied by a growing, and eventually insurmountable technical advantage — spy satellites, sophisticated drones and cyber-hacking capabilities that turn mobile phones into listening devices.
It collects so much data that it has a dedicated group, Unit 9900, which writes algorithms that sift through terabytes of visual images to find the slightest changes, hoping to identify an improvised explosive device by a roadside, a vent over a tunnel or the sudden addition of a concrete reinforcement, hinting at a bunker.

Inshallah after we survive this war, as Lebanon, and Hezbullah is victor despite all odds, a new shift and understanding will take place to OPSEC and security.

• Was the organizational official for the southern region of Hezbullah from 1991 to 2010
• Deputy Head of the Executive Council of Hezbullah until 2018.

• One of the leaders of the heroic operations during the confrontation with the Israeli invasion of Beirut in 1982.
• He planned and supervised many martyrdom operations, including the martyrdom operation of Ahmed Qasir.
• He established the axes and formations of resistance in the border strip area after the Israeli withdrawal in 1985.
• He assumed military responsibility for the southern region until 1996 and planned, supervised and directly led many qualitative operations against Israeli army positions during the occupation period and until the liberation of the south in 2000.

- Saida: 32 killed and 53 injured
- Sour District: 16 killed and 115 injured
- Beqaa: 9 killed and 42 injured
- Nabatiyeh: 7 killed and 40 injured
- Bint Jbeil: 5 killed and 10 injured
- Ghobeiri: 3 killed and 2 injured (Beirut)

- A short while ago, the IDF Aerial Defense Array successfully intercepted a suspicious aerial target that crossed from Lebanon into Israeli territory.
- Sirens regarding rocket and missile launches were activated in the area of Ramot Naftali due to the possibility of falling shrapnel from the interception.

This group is literally of no effect on Israel. What justifies attacking this area in persuit of some members of it.
