Admittedly, there are credible reasons why one's success can be attributed to both hard work and luck. In some people's opinion, so as to excel at their studies or job, an individual has to dedicate a considerable amount of time and effort since poor effort and insufficient quantity of time can lead to average outcomes, resulting in them being less successful than others. Successful people such as Elon Musk and Cristiano Ronaldo are often seen to put their wins down to their work ethics which is to make hard work indispensable part of success in life. Others, however, ascribe success to luck saying that factors outside one's control such as genetics, family circumstances, a set of contacts and unexpected fortunate events can have a profound impact in their success. For instance, someone with strong genetics stands a better chance of becoming an NBA player just as someone born in an affluent family is less likely to struggle setting up their own business.
