I am again calling upon the Israeli government not to launch a large scale ground operation in Rafah. Israel has every right to defend herself against Hamas but not at the cost of innocent civilian lives in Gaza.

Good conversation with FM of Argentina @DianaMondino on deepening our ties, esp. in trade. 🇫🇮 and 🇦🇷 work together in many areas, such as the Antarctic. Expressed thanks for Argentina’s support to #Ukraine and the UN Charter. We value the partnership between the EU and Argentina.

Worrying scenes in Georgia. Violence against peaceful protestors is not acceptable. Georgia was granted EU candidate status and we expect Georgia to stay on that path, which is the people’s choice. People have the right to demonstrate against the law on foreign influence.

Finland and Tanzania have a longstanding partnership and I was pleased to learn that there is mutual interest in deepening it further in many fields including human rights, trade and investment, tech, meteorology, logistics and forestry. Looking fwd to it FM @JMakamba 🇫🇮🇹🇿

Once again, it's not NATO expanding itself but the free people of democratic countries choosing to join. NATO is not threatening anybody but an alliance for defence. If you feel intimidated by people's freedom to choose, don't blame us. Look into the mirror. #FinlandNATO
