Granular Media Permissions. Groups now have individual permissions for every media type – allowing admins to create unique communication styles, or even disable text messages.
Auto-Save Incoming Media. The ‘Save to Gallery’ setting on Android and iOS now has separate settings for photos and videos, and also supports exceptions for individual chats.
Emoji Categories. Stickers, emoji and reactions are now sorted by categories like 👍❤️🎉💤. To get a better look at any emoji in the panel, hold down to zoom in.
Profile Photo Maker. Animated emoji and stickers can now be used to create profile pictures for yourself, a group, a channel, or even your contacts – just select ‘Set Emoji’ when adding a profile photo.
The media editor has been fully redesigned – adding line smoothing and dynamically changing width as you draw. Switching tools is even easier, with new ways to add shapes or a blur effect.
Text can be added to media with newfonts and backgroundoptions – and a simple slider to change its size. Custom animated emoji are also supported, and are available for all users.

The Storage Usage page has been redesigned on Android – showing how much space each chat is using on your device, and allowing you to clear the media of individual chats by file type.
These features were already available on iOS, and you can control Telegram’s footprint on any platform in Settings.
