I visited Gaston College, which is preparing students for good-paying jobs in clean technology being created by the Inflation Reduction Act. @POTUS and I believe you shouldn’t need a 4 year degree to be part of the middle-class, and programs like this help make that a reality.
.@POTUS’ Investing in America agenda and the Inflation Reduction Act are achieving their goals of revitalizing communities that have been overlooked and need public investment to unlock private capital. Treasury analysis shows that funding is going where it’s needed most.
Today, I joined @POTUS at the White House where he announced new actions as part of his Bidenomics agenda to strengthen supply chains critical to America’s economic and national security, lower costs for families, and help Americans get the goods they need when they need them.
Today’s actions hold Binance accountable for its wrongdoing by ensuring Binance leaves the U.S. market and sending a clear message to bad actors in the virtual currency industry.
Thank you to the IRS-CI special agents thatled the criminal investigation into Binance and its founder that served as the basis for potential criminal charges and civil penalties. I would also like to thank OFAC, FinCEN, and @TheJusticeDept for their work on this matter.

We’re making meaningful economic progress with inflation coming down, the labor market remaining strong, and @POTUS’ Investing in America agenda creating good-paying jobs in parts of the country that have historically been left behind.
I was glad to welcome President Xi Jinping to California for his meeting with @POTUS and APEC Economic Leaders Week.
Hosting APEC is one of the many ways @POTUS is broadening and deepening our economic ties across the Asia-Pacific, and I was glad to chair the 2023 Finance Ministers’ Meeting.
I offer my condolences to the Moroccan families that have lost their loved ones or had their homes destroyed. No words can alleviate their grief.
