A training programme was launched there for skilled workers from North Rhine-Westphalia who are to be deployed in medium fuselage production in #Weeze.
The centre fuselage for the F-35A fighter aircraft will be manufactured at the #Rheinmetall#Aviation plant in Weeze from 2025.
The production in Weeze serves to increase the overall capacity for F-35A fighter aircraft production in co-operation with Northrop Grumman and @LockheedMartin.
This co-operation between North Rhine-Westphalia and the United States strengthens #security in #Europe.
