This is definitely the case regarding the last coupling. Cloud Nine is a theatrical work with its roots placed in visual soil whereas on the other end of the stick you have The Wallpaper Psalm, which has its roots firmly based in an audio garden bed. Cloud Nine came off as if it were fully intended to be visually consumed. It has an elaborate set which plays a fundamental part of the production. The performance space was arena style with a large stage upon which the actors acted upon. The characters further develop the stage as they interact with it and paint pictures with their dialogue so that you can imagine what should be there, though it isn't.
