πβ§π πe is Kim Taehyung was born in Seo District, Daegu, South Korea on December 30, 1995 and grew up in Geochang City. He is the eldest of three children, has two brothers, a brother and a sister. V officially became a Big Hit Entertainment trainee after successfully passing the audition in Daegu.

On June 13, 2013, Taehyung debuted as a member of Bangtan Boys on Mnet M! Countdown performed the song "No More Dream" from their debut single album, 2 Cool 4 Skool.[10] The first song he composed was featured on the album The Most Beautiful Moment In Life, Part 1, he wrote and produced his own song called Hold Me Tight. He also contributed to writing lyrics for the song Fun Boyz, which was composed by his bandmate Suga.
