🏷بر اساس یک مطالعه اخیر منتشر شده در مجله آمریکایی روانپزشکی وابستگی مذهبی با میزان قابل توجهی پایین تر از خودکشی در مقایسه با افراد مذهبی غیر وابسته، بیخدانان و آگنوستیک ها مرتبط است. منبع: کانیتا درویش، ماریا اکتونو، مایکل اف. گرونباوم، استیو الیس، آینسلکی ک. برک و جی جان مان. 📖Religious affiliation is associated with less suicidal behavior in depressed inpatients. After other factors were controlled, it was found that greater moral objections to suicide and lower aggression level in religiously affiliated subjects may function as protective factors against suicide attempts. Further study about the influence of religious affiliation on aggressive behavior and how moral objections can reduce the probability of acting on suicidal thoughts may offer new therapeutic strategies in suicide prevention.



👈🏿وابستگی مذهبی با رفتارهای خودکشی کمتر در بیماران افسرده همراه است. پس از کنترل عوامل دیگر، یافته های اخلاقی بیشتری نسبت به خودکشی و سطح تهاجم پایین در افراد وابسته به مذهب ممکن است به عنوان عوامل محافظت کننده علیه تلاش های خودکشی عمل کند👉🏿. مطالعه بیشتر در مورد تأثیر وابستگی مذهبی به رفتار تهاجمی و اینکه چگونه اخطارهای اخلاقی می تواند احتمال بروز افکار خودکشی را کاهش دهد ممکن است راهبردهای درمانی جدید در پیشگیری از خودکشی ارائه دهد.

📮Scientists have long known that alcohol dependence and other addictions feature striking changes in the brain. These include an overactivity of stress-related circuits and a weakening of the prefrontal executive control circuits that normally act as a brake on emotional reactions and impulsive behaviors.
