What is Memecoin Mountain?

The Memecoin Mountain is a four-week competition of TON memecoin communities competing to showcase their best performance for the chance to win big airdrops and other prizes.

Memecoin mountain is comprised of two leagues: Major(>$1M) and Minor Leagues ($250k < x < $1M). Mittens will either participate in the minor or major league, depending on our market cap next week.

When will the competition begin and how long will it last?

The memecoin mountain competition will begin the last week of October (next week), and will last four weeks.

How are the results calculated?

The rank of each memecoin in the leaderboard depends:

- Trading volume and market cap: Trading volume compared to the market cap.

- Holder growth & diamond hands: Tracking the change in holders over time and the proportion of wallets that hold the token continuously.

- Community engagement: Measuring the community engagement of the memecoin project on Twitter.

How is the reward pool distributed?

There will be three types of prizes for the winning memecoins:

- Community airdrops

- Liquidity injection into the token pool on a DEX (Minor League only)

- Marketing prizes: KOL boost (Major League only) and Telegram Ads credits.

How to get an airdrop?

The Major League's top 3 memecoin communities and the Minor League's top 2 memecoin communities will be rewarded with airdrops.

To receive an airdrop, community members are encouraged to hold and actively trade participating memecoins and promote them on social media to increase their social engagement scores.

How will the team work to onboard new holders?

The team have waited for such an opportunity to come, and have saved up marketing funds that will be used during the competition. During the competition, Mittens will:

- Collab with some very influential Chinese KOLs to spread Mittens to Asia

-Collab with other Ton projects and engage the community through different competition

- Run ads in high volume periods on Dex, Telegram, some chinese crypto sites and much more

- Increase our daily raids

- Participate in lots of spaces

- Generate more good content

The team will do its part, but most is up to the community. So what can you do for Mittens to win? There are lots of things:

History of $Mittens
$Mittens was launched on April 16th 2024, and was originally rugged by the dev the day after. A few days later some community members saw the potential of the narrative, and claimed ownership on April 26th. $Mittens is now a CTO project with 20+ members in the CTO team, all of whom have extensive experience from previous projects. The CTO team managed to push the token from 50k to an ATH of 13m. Meanwhile, the $Mittens community grew from 200 holders to 3600 strong.
Like all meme coins on TON and other chains, $Mittens have experienced a significant price drop since it reached an ATH in late June. But team is still holding and active, working every day to bring $Mittens back to ATH and well beyond. Our long term goal this cycle is to reach a market cap of $1bn
