Long story short

Yesterday we had a wonderful meeting, I want to thank all the participants for insights and suggestions that enriched the novel's understanding.

Until today I was literally struggling through Intermezzo, saying names and articulating well-versed inner arguments against it (though admitting some pro's too)
And in last 10% the story made or I made a leap and I've just got it!
We shall discuss in detail at the meeting, now I just want to support you - just read forward!

Anybody reading the story, needing the encouragement?😃

Well, I'm reading Sally Rooney and recollecting my impressions from Paul Lynch whom I read earlier this year. I have a feeling that all Irish writers feel obligated to write like James Joyce, when clarity is not of the first priority...🙄😂

If you are new here - I'm Anya, and this club is my most inspiring hobby❤️
Last year I thought I should get back to what was my favorite thing quite a while ago in the linguistic uni - reading English stories and having heated discussions about them.

And though we haven't even celebrated our first birthday in this club, we already have the most wonderful community of people with diverse opinions, resulting in complex argumentations and curious conclusions. Every meeting is precious!

We meet on Thursdays roughly once per 3 weeks.
But contrary to any consistency we will have 3 meetings in November, and you still have time to read and participate in one of them.
