Аннотация: Persistent homology allows to measure the amount of active memory of a network, yet it is rarely used due to unreasonably high computational demands. This paper demonstrates that information storage strongly correlates with persistent homology but is far more computationally effective. We calculate both information storage and persistent diagrams distance for human connectome during various cognitive tasks and demonstrate that there is strong agreement between the two.
