Freeos + Lift Announcements

Update:

The Freeos / Lift Cash team have been working solidly behind the scenes.

Remember that the plan is to migrate the Freeos protocol to a similar protocol on ICP with better liquidity. The plan is on track.
We're progressing well with the development of Lift Cash dApp for ICP (SNS DAO) implementation.

As some of you already know we received an ICP Foundation Community Grant to build this dApp. We commissioned a team who are highly recommended by the ICP Hub who support the grant process, to build the dApp.

They are making good progress.
The majority of the architecture has been coded.

They are also working in parallel on the frontend.

With a separate development team we have also completed the basic path of a bridge from XPR to ICP.

We'll keep you all posted with developments as we progress. 😊

📢 Announcement: Lift Cash Community Contest Paused

Dear Freeos/Lift Cash Community,

We are pausing the Lift Cash Community Contest effective immediately. This decision follows concerns raised by the community about unusual on-chain activities that suggest potential exploitation of the contest. While we cannot fully confirm the extent of these activities, it has become clear, upon reviewing these concerns, that Telegram and the bots we rely on are not sophisticated enough to provide the level of confidence needed to prevent misuse and ensure fair participation.

Our next stage involves BTC rewards, and we are committed to making sure these are awarded to genuine community members who contribute meaningfully. We want to maintain the integrity of the contest and ensure a level playing field for all participants.

This decision was voted on via our DAO, and you can review the passed proposal here:

We are now exploring alternative platforms and methods that can better support the spirit of the contest’s goals and ensure fairness in awarding BTC.

Update:
As part of Freeos forming Lift Cash as an additional supplementary income for our members on ICP network... we are building a bridge from XPR chain to ICP. This is progressing very well. We believe we are more than 50% there. This will be a major milestone for this project. We are very appreciative of the work of Tom and his son Michael for their work on this project.

Phase 3 is being extended 2 more weeks:

We've consulted our moderators and decided to extend Phase 3 ( "Week 3") for a further 2 weeks. This is to enable more people to qualify for the rewards. At the moment we have 7 who qualify. We are aiming for up to 20 winners. Please encourage your colleagues to get involved and encourage your referrals to have meaningful interactions in the community - not just Good Morning.

Your referrals must earn at least 1 reputation point to count towards your success. Quality over quantity is key—encourage your referrals to get involved and contribute to the community.

In 2 weeks, we’ll be rewarding up to 20 lucky referrers (assuming they qualify with at least 1 referral with 1 rep) with random FREEOS prizes, so everyone has a chance to win!

REFERRAL ANNOUNCEMENT!

We had to troubleshoot a bug with the Bot and the Referral System.

We saved the CSV before taking action on the error to save the referrals and the reputation data. So good news is that we have the data. It is included in this announcement for transparency.

Unfortunately, fixing the bot problem reset the reputation scoreboard from scratch. We will have to manually combine the CSV data linked here to any new referrals.

Sorry for the inconvenience to the how the bot leaderboard shows. Fortunately we have the downloaded data so we can still honour the prizes accordingly.

The referrals would have reset in a couple of days for the 2nd week anyway, so only a few more days before we would have reset.

And we have the data, so this is the important part!

TEAM:
We're doing really well we started around 580 members and now we're over 660. That's a good result in a short time and it's Phase 1 of many to transition and grow this community. See the pinned messages for more details.
