Meine Antwort an Viktor Orban

Dear Mr Orban,

thank you for the clear, realistic and constructive description of the way to peace in Ukraine. I translate it to simple words as follows:

A) if nobody stops them, Putin and Selenskyi will fight until the last Ukrainian drop of blood.

B) if we continue on the path we are on, the war will escalate and more countries will lose their children on the battlefield.

C) Only USA, EU and China can stop them, with the help of Turkey.

D) China will not stop them as long as others don't take the lead.

E) Biden will not stop them, we need to wait for Trump becoming president.

F) EU could start negotiating earlier, but prefers to just copy US policy. Again, we need to wait for Trump.

G) Anyway, it will be necessary to talk to Russia in order to stop the war.

H) If nobody stops the war, it will be NATO against the rest of the world at the end.

My own conclusion: if Trump dies or doesn't become president of the United States, we are doomed to World War III.

I would love to see you give us an alternative scenario that doesn't rely as heavily on one single man.

Thank you once more for your brave initiative to find out what chances for peace we have at all.

Please carry on and push everyone you meet as hard as you can to talk to each other and to de-escalate!

Auf diese Bilder warte ich seit Beginn des Krieges Anfang 2022. Ich hatte gehofft, dass Österreich oder die Schweiz eine diplomatische Initiative starten würden und wurde durch die nicht neutrale Haltung beider Länder enttäuscht. Videoquelle
