Doodles Is 'No Longer an NFT Project,' Co-Founder Says
Jordan Castro, one of the founders behind the popular non-fungible token (NFT) project Doodles has shared that the brand is moving away from being an "NFT project" and focusing on the long-term vision of becoming a top-tier media brand.
In a statement posted to Discord on Thursday, Castro, known online by his alias, Poopie, discussed the brand's plans to build away from "trends that fuel speculation" in the NFT market.
NFTnow Tweet"We're trying to go from a startup to a leading media franchise," he wrote. He also pledged to focus energy on Doodles' "most loyal collectors."
"We are not going to spend any resources appeasing those with financial motivations," he added. "We never have and we never will."
The statement received mixed reactions from holders who asked for clearer communications.
