The bitter cold has gripped our dojo this winter. The road down has been impassable by car for weeks, only just now thawing out enough for 4WD. The hike down is a welcome and peaceful respite from the constant noise of our modern days. I’ll miss making this trek in the dark mornings and sunset evenings…but more snow is forecasted to head our way next week, so maybe I’ll keep trudging down.
