An Unexpectedly Familiar Evening
Tonight, Seamond stopped by my place since heβs in town for the holidays. It felt like no time had passed since we last saw each other. Despite everything, weβve managed to stay closeβan unusual but comforting dynamic for exes.
We spent the evening catching up, diving into the yearβs juiciest stories, the kind of βhot teaβ that makes you laugh and gasp in equal measure. The hours flew by as we talked, reminisced, and indulged in our mutual love for a good drama.
Later, we decided to play a few rounds of cards, and i have to say it i won. Fair and square. Seamond claimed I got lucky, but we both know thatβs just not true.
And of course, the highlight of his visit (aside from losing to me) was reuniting with Zagrey, my ever adorable cat. Seamond missed him terribly, and Zag seemed just as happy to see him, curling up in his lap like old times.
It was a night of nostalgia, laughter, and a little friendly competition proof that some connections never truly fade.
