....if he knows the people are being lied to, only a traitor would fail to speak out....there are people in jail over this, and he is covering his own ass....fucking reprehensible....

Here us my tuppence worth on farmers, being the daughter if a farm manager (retired) and a mother of a son who has taken a massive dive of great debt to buy a farm in NE Scotland.

My Dad worked 24/7 .... for someone else, but he took great pride in his farming and the love of the land. We never had holidays because school holidays were when Dad was busiest. I also didn't know that people went on holiday as my holidays were spent working on the farm too ... so that is my work ethic and I have great respect for all.

My Dad always said .... supermarkets will be the death of farming .... I have never forgotten this and will never set foot in a super market for this very reason.

When my oldest son and his wife managed to get a tenancy farm, it was huge for them, they worked this and kept full time jobs, and along came an opportunity for them to buy a farm, it is a huge gamble for them, but they have jumped to do it and I am super proud of them....but they literally work 18 hours 7 days a week. They are exhausted, have no money, not even to buy food, I do this for them, it is the least I can do. They live 2.5 hours away so I can't do much more to help... anyway, the bottom line is, every person I know who works with the land, do so as a vocation, not to make money, but to provide for others to their detriment, yet they would never say this, they would say it is for the love.

So my long winded way of saying, instead of looking at what the farmers could or couldn't do .... the solution is simple....walk away from supermarkets, any chain of coffee shop, fast food outlet, etc .... I know I am saying this to the converted and knowing of this, but spread the word, stand outside the supermarkets and block their carparks, let people know why .... we are the ones who should be showing our utmost support for farmers and yes, I agree with bloody pirate Smith.... put the coppers to their funds because the small farmer really doesn't have cash...they live very frugally and if you went to their houses you would see they have nothing lavish .... the joke in our family is, make sure you have lengths of bailer twine so you can fix anything .....

To clarify my thoughts on the last post by Bloody Pirate Presents, that I shared...
This issue of inheritance tax, and the plight of farmers, is absolutely vital. I am 100% behind them. I just don't believe in protest, for protest amounts to having a tantrum in front of mum and dad because they took your sweets away. Protesting is recognition of government authority (recognition which government craves).

Like Bloody Pirate, I would rather see us work together with farmers in other ways; first and foremost to learn Trust Law and other aspect of law which could help the situation. Law is not a body of people but an objective tool for order and justice. To seek authority in law is to place all men on a level playing field.

If law fails, all that's left are the whims and desires of recognised authority, and the sword. That's why law must always be the first point of call, and it isn't defined by the men and women who currently sit in parliament.

....my thoughts on the Farmers protest....

....I really think protesting is a waste of time....they are expecting 20,000+ people to turn up....if everyone who attends spends just £100 on travel and expenses that's 2 million pounds that goes straight back into the system....that's enough to pay the inheritance tax on a few struggling farms....it's prob even enough to buy a farm outright....and that's one protest, about one issue....all the Covid protests, the stop the war protest (million plus attendance), plus every other issue that folk wanna protest about...how much money are we going to waste on flag waving and shouting at the void, instead of investing in the future of our folk and country....the last protest that had any meaningful effect on government policy was the poll tax protests in the 90s....can we stop throwing tens (or 100s) of millions of our hard-earned monies at pointless protests now please?....
