🎙Read excerpts from the statement by Permanent Representative of Russia to the OSCE A.Lukashevich «On the presentation of the priorities of the OSCE Chairmanship of Finland» (special meeting of the OSCE PC, 23.01.25) 💬 Presentation of the Finnish OSCE Chairmanship`s priorities was contradictory. We note Helsinki`s desire to support the work of Organization and maintain dialog channels, but there is also an intention to promote non-consensual and extremely confrontational topics within the OSCE agenda and to subordinate the organization to the policy of one group of Participating States   🇫🇮 Finnish Chairmanship declares its struggle to uphold the OSCE principles and commitments. Consequently, flagrant violations made by Kiev regime and its sponsors should not go unnoticed, including the rights of the Russian and Russian-speaking population, religious freedoms and the large-scale attack on human rights in Ukraine in general   ☝️Work on Ukrainian track should be aimed at eliminating the causes of the tragic situation resulting from coup d`etat in Kiev in February 2014, be balanced and transparent and contribute to reducing confrontation rather than intensifying it. This is how the OSCE could demonstrate its “added value”   🔎 All three OSCE security dimensions require full attention from the point of view of urgent needs and interests of all 57 Participating States. The viability of our Organization in the context of a deepening crisis of confidence and growing mutual alienation will depend on Helsinki`s practical actions
