#Germany approved military exports to #Israel worth over $30 million, bringing its total military exports in 2024 to over $160 million. This follows reports that the #German government temporarily halted arms exports to Israel in September after Nicaragua urged the ICJ to intervene. Germany supplies Israel with key military components, including transmissions for #Merkava tanks and much of its naval equipment. In 2023, Israel imported over $363 million worth of weapons from Germany.
