CALIFORNIA β Malibu situation: New evacuation orders just went out for the Santa Monica area. More than 400,000 people remain without power.
The video below (right) shows the ALDI supermarket on fire, the largest in the city of Altadena, a suburb of Los Angeles, 20 km from the center.
In Los Angeles, 293,000 people are currently under mandatory evacuation orders, a 300% increase from yesterday.
