Sometimes I fall asleep with the lights on. Maybe because I'm lazy; don't wanna get out of my bed; get out of my clothes; get into my head. Which, I do Sometimes, in the dark. Maybe I fall asleep with the lights on because with them off, I trip, over the mess that my life is. Or maybe sometimes I fall asleep with the lights on because I'm still waiting for you. I want you to walk by; see my light. I want to wake up to the sound of you crinkling into the covers. And I want you to ask me weather or not I want the lights on or off. And so I can say it doesn't matter; as long as I'm laying next to you.
