(WCSC) - Nearly three months after 43 monkeys escaped a Yemassee research facility, officials say they have finally captured the last one. 43 rhesus macaque monkeys have escaped from a research facility in Beaufort County, South Carolina, and authorities are advising everyone to keep their doors and windows locked. They’re using traps and thermal imaging to try to track them down, but none have been caught yet.
