✴️ لا نستخدم "The" مع أسماء الناس
(‘Helen’, ‘Helen Taylor’ etc.).
بنفس الطريقة نحن لا نستخدم مع معظم أسماءالأماكن.
#continents(القارات) Africa, South America
#countries, states etc.France, Japan, Texas
#islands(الجزر) ➠ Sicily, Tasmania
#cities, towns (المدن)etc. ➠ Cairo, Bangkok
#mountains (الجبال) ➠Everest, Kilimanjaro

✴️لكن نستخدم The في الاسماء مع الجمهورية ,المملكة ....الخ
#Republic, #Kingdom, #States etc. :

🔆 the United Kingdom (the UK)

🔆Have you been to Canada or the United States?

✴️عندما نستخدم عنوان الشخص
Mr/Ms/Captain/Doctor etc. + a name,
لانستخدم The لذلك نقول :
💠 Mr Johnson 💠 Doctor Johnson
💠Captain Johnson 💠President Johnson
💠 Uncle Robert 💠 Saint Catherine
💠Queen Catherine etc.

🔆We called the doctor.
🔰We called Doctor Johnson.(لانه ذكرنا الاسم)

✴️نستخدم الجبال "Mount" والبحيرات"Lake" قبل اسم في نفس الطريقه (بدون The):
🔸Mount Everest 🔸Mount Etna
🔸Lake Superior 🔸 Lake Victoria

🔆They live near the lake. (لانه لم يذكر اسمها)
🔆They live near Lake Superior. (ذكر اسمها)

✴️نستخدم The مع اسماء المحيطات "oceans" البحار seas, الانهار "rivers" ,القنوات"canals":

🔸the Atlantic (Ocean)
🔸the Red Sea 🔸the Amazon

🔸the Nile 🔸the Mediterranean (Sea)
🔸the Suez Canal

✴️نستخدم Theمع أسماء الصحارى:
🔆the Sahara (Desert) the Gobi Desert

✴️نستخدم The مع أسماء الجمع من الناسpeople
والأماكنplaces:

🔸the Taylors (= the Taylor family), the Johnsons

🔸the Canaries (or the Canary Islands), the Bahamas
#mountain ranges
🔸the Andes, the Alps, the Urals
🔆The highest mountain in the Andes is (Mount) Aconcagua.
