Because I'm a lover of art, I've decided to share this wonderful project of recreating original settings of painted artwork by placing it in a modern, photographical scenery that captures the original mood of the painting. The first one was so captivating to me, that it made laugh. That's how good the facial expression was mimicked. There are a total of 53 recreated scenes to view. As you can see, number 39 was my favorite. The book she's holding, made me think of my Dutch State Bible from 1902 π₯°
The beauty of art is that it has the ability to give you a very personal experience, even though the artist who made the specific piece had a very different story to tell with what he or she made.
Little fun fact about the Indian painter who made the original piece: he loved to paint his works in a European academic style, influenced by French painters such as William-Adolphe Bouguereau and Gustave Boulanger.
