🇺🇸🍿 The US Consumer Financial Protection Bureau today announced a new proposed interpretation of the rule, which will give it the power to regulate digital asset wallets as financial institutions offering electronic funds transfers. This will allow the Bureau to hold wallet providers such as MetaMask and Phantom accountable for fraudulent or erroneous “unauthorized” transactions.
