🦾 Huawei has unveiled a robot arm for charging electric cars

📰 Huawei demonstrated an innovative robotic arm for automatic charging of electric cars. The device allows the driver not to leave the car as the arm itself connects the cable and starts the charging process.

🔋 The arm is installed on a 600 kW charging station and can charge a 100 kWh battery in just ten minutes. Mass production of the technology will begin this 2025.

➡️ The charging stations will be compatible with cars from manufacturers that are members of the Huawei Supercharging Alliance. Among them are BYD, Xpeng, Li Auto, Aito, and JAC.

🚘 Vantage roadster got a fast-folding roof

🆕 Aston Martin Vantage's soft top folds down in just 6.8 seconds. It is not only fast, but also light: the roadster is heavier than the coupe only by 60 kilograms.

😯 Thanks to the multi-layer material of the top, the noise level in the cabin when the roof is closed is comparable to that of a coupe. The top can be folded or closed at speeds up to 50 km/h.

🐎 The roadster will be equipped with the same engine as the coupe: it is a V8 with a volume of 4.0 liters, which develops 665 hp and 800 Nm.

🚗 Sony and Honda have revealed the prices of the Afeela electric cars

💵 The Afeela 1 Origin model will be priced from $89,900.

🤖 They promise 18 cameras, 12 ultrasonic sensors, lidar and 9 radars. There will also be an AI assistant. Power reserve is about 482 kilometers.

📆 Deliveries will begin in 2026-2027.
